Normally, you earn 5 WESTER points per 1,000 yen, but with this card you can earn 10 points per 1,000 yen. You can easily make Shinkansen reservations online using Smart EX or e5489, and earn WESTER points when you pay with the card. The card automatically comes with overseas travel insurance with a maximum coverage of 50 million yen, and if you use the card for domestic travel, you will be covered up to 50 million yen. The card also offers a wide range of benefits, including access to the special waiting rooms and Mizukaze Lounge at both Hakata and Kokura stations, and airport lounge services.
